The Rabbit Hotel
The Rabbit Hotel is on the outskirts of Maidstone. It is fully insured and exclusively for Rabbits. We offer comfortable and secure accommodation in our outbuilding whilst owners are away.
'Double storey' sleeping spaces have a roomy living area for every guest. This keeps your Pet Rabbit secure at night, but with some roaming space, ensuring a comfortable stay. Single storey sleeping dwellings are available if preferred for younger/elderly Rabbits.
Whilst with us your Rabbit will enjoy peace and quiet during the day and night, but will also receive one to one attention and loving care.
Rabbits can be handled and groomed at your request.
Sleeping areas are kept beautifully clean, in a secure condition, offering good quality bedding that is regularly refreshed during their stay.
We can include your preference of food, bedding and additional snacks; even some fresh food as part of their normal diet or simply as a treat. There is plenty of hay!
Our Hotel has an exercise pen/ 'Free Roam' area for rabbits that are used to larger spaces at home or those that might like more of a leg stretch/hop about during their stay (no extra charge) and we encourage this; offering it daily to our small boarders.
We are a predator proof residence and take pride in the care we offer; 'Secure, not Confined.'

We respect the wishes of our clients and discuss pet care on an individual basis. Young and old are welcome at The Rabbit Hotel. We DO NOT allow Rabbits to mix for Health and Safety and will ask to see proof of vaccinations prior to boarding.
*Additional measures are being taken due to the extreme heat this Summer season.
Frozen bottles are assisting with temperature control within our outbuilding and are available for use as cooling aids if required as well as our fans/cooling unit.

£10 - Single Occupancy
£15 - Shared (If you own two bonded rabbits)
Maximum two rabbits per dwelling.

Booking
A 25% non-refundable deposit will be taken to secure your space in our diary.
Client agreement/vet details must be completed prior to bookings.
Weekend bookings available (Minimum stay 2 nights)
AM/PM Pick up and drop off times offered.
Advance booking is encouraged for peak season/School holidays.
Payment to be taken in full prior to dropping off your rabbit.
Vaccinations must be up to date for the protection of your rabbit and others at our hotel.

Vaccinations are required at least 3 weeks prior to boarding.
If your rabbit becomes ill during their stay, we will inform you as soon as possible and consult your vet/emergency contact. Cost of any treatment will need to be paid by you directly to the vet.
IN THE INTEREST OF OUR OTHER GUESTS WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT RABBITS THAT ARE ON MEDICATION OR SHOWING SIGNS OF ILLNESS.

I have cared for animals since my early childhood and now, with my own family, I have more fully appreciated how much the company of animals enriches my own life and that of others.
I also quickly realised that when you try to take a break or plan a holiday; having a pet can often mean a struggle. Finding the right person, calling in a favour or placing them with someone you totally trust isn’t an easy decision. I used to worry about how far in advance to plan...
Travelling with your pet may be difficult, you may experience panic over missing that flight? then the stress of the drop off itself? When all that is completed; there could be constant worry over whether they are even happy? Every owner is different, but I can relate to some of these experiences.
As a pet loving family, not wanting to travel too far for animal care, we were driven by the desire to offer reasonable rates and a secure environment for Rabbits!
